high Peaks school garden
The High Peaks Garden is a hands-on learning space, supported and funded by the High Peaks Education Team in collaboration with Growing Gardens. Students engage in garden-based lessons, with the garden cared for by our students, faculty, staff, and the wider community.
In the spring, classes plant all the crops, and High Peaks Summer Garden Families maintain the garden during the summer months. When students return in the fall, they harvest the vegetables they began growing in the spring.
Parent volunteers collaborate closely with faculty and staff to plan each year's crops and assist with classroom lessons in the garden.
We always welcome new volunteers! If you're interested in helping, please contact [insert contact info].
